Naturopathic Medicine at Marithyme Naturopathic Clinic

Whole-person care grounded in science and nature.

Naturopathic doctors complete extensive medical and naturopathic training, allowing us to blend evidence-informed natural therapies with a comprehensive understanding of human physiology. Our approach focuses on identifying the underlying contributors to how you feel—looking beyond surface symptoms to understand the full context of your health. We aim to provide thoughtful, collaborative care that supports your body’s natural ability to find balance.

What Makes Our Approach Different

  • A Complete Health Assessment Your initial visit includes a detailed discussion of your health history, nutrition, digestion, hormones, stress patterns, and lifestyle. We look for underlying patterns rather than focusing only on symptoms.
  • Personalized, Natural Strategies Your care plan may include:
    • Nutrition and lifestyle guidance
    • Botanical medicine
    • Stress and sleep support
    • Targeted supplementation
    • Mind–body practices
    • Advanced therapies such as IV/injection therapies (when appropriate) Every plan is tailored to your unique needs and goals.
  • Evidence-Informed Functional Testing When helpful, we may integrate advanced testing such as hormone assessments, thyroid panels, digestive analysis, nutrient testing, or metabolic markers. Testing is offered only when it provides meaningful, individualized insight.

Visit Schedule & Appointment Lengths

  • Initial Visit Your first appointment is typically 60 minutes. This allows time for a full history, assessment, and collaborative goal-setting.
  • Follow-Up Visits Follow-up appointments are usually 30–45 minutes, depending on your needs and the complexity of your plan. These visits allow us to: Review progress Adjust your plan Discuss test results Introduce new strategies as appropriate
  • Visit Frequency Visit frequency varies depending on your goals. Many patients start with appointments every 3–6 weeks, then move to seasonal or periodic check-ins once their plan is established. Your practitioner will help determine a schedule that feels supportive and realistic.
