With a Master of Social Work from Dalhousie University and more than 25 years of experience
supporting individuals, children, and families, Nancy is committed to helping you achieve
greater emotional and mental health. Her compassionate, collaborative approach creates a safe,
supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful
change.
Nancy has completed advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Dr. Leslie
Sokol and integrates CBT with humanistic, mindfulness-based, and solution-focused approaches.
She believes each person is the expert in their own life and works alongside clients to explore
their thoughts, emotions, and experiences from a holistic perspective. Together with Nancy, you
will develop practical strategies to overcome challenges, build resilience, and move toward
sustainable wellbeing.
Nancy provides counselling and skill-building support for a wide range of challenges, including
anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationships, family violence, ADHD, parenting,
adolescent mental health, career transitions, job loss, retirement, school transitions, chronic
illness, conflict resolution, and navigating complex systems.
